He gave up his freedoms to protect the freedoms of his country. He gave up his life to protect us all. Thank you, CPT Wallace! May peace be with his family for sacrificing on behalf of Americans.

"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." Jn 15:13

Too much to see in those eyes. Thank you for giving the ultimate for my freedom, Captain Wallace. I honor you and your family. Again, thank you.

Captain Wallace's sacrifice is much more than just for his country. It is a sacrifice for the little girl, who in 20 years from now is able to go to school and not worry for her life, ... for that young woman who can now attend university and not fear of being mutilated... for the young man to be able to chose his own religious faith without the cost of his life.
Many will thank Captain Wallace for his sacrifice in the future - not just here and in Kabul, but elsewhere for his bravery and example.
Thanks to all US servicemen, and especially to the fallen ones, for their sacrifice for PEACE in the world. I know they helped me live in freedom...

Though I never met Captain Wallace, he was no doubt a quality individual. Thank you, Wallace family, for loving him enough to let him serve his nation and the world in defense of freedom. May God bless you with peace--he serves an even more important mission now!

Cpt. Wallace is a true hero. My condolences and best wishes to his wife and children. I have one question-why do these brave young men and women have to serve multiple, sometimes up to four or five, tours of duty in a deadly combat zone! No american soldier, airman, marine or sailor should be required to serve more than "one" tour of duty. That's the way it was in Viet Nam and that's the way it should be now. Bring back the draft.

A sacrifice we should not forget.

I went to High School with Ray. He was always a kind hearted and soft spoken young man. My heart is aching for his family and I will continue to lift them up in prayer. THANK YOU, RAY for your service to our country. Words cannot express my thankfulness and gratitude for those who not only serve our country but also those who give up their husbands, children, fathers, etc. to serve. THANK YOU!
Love,
Melinda (Whigham) Piercefield
