Brilliantly written article! I remember Barak Obama said that some cable news shows are like watching professional wrestling. I've found many of them more theatrical than informative. Although I like to keep up with the news, if a newscaster is whiny, rude, contentious, or arrogant, I refuse to listen to him or her. My time and peace of mind are valuable.

I used to be the biggest Chris Matthews fan; I know he loves Utah (senator moss gave him his first major job in Washington) and he always says good things about LDS faith; and yet despite his Catholicicm, he has turned crazily in favor of gay marriage. I could say the same for Senator Schumer and his Judaism----how do these guys turn on their Biblical heritage????? All in the name of equality and constitution. I used to think many of these guys on the east coast are better people than me, but give them time and they disappoint you and they slide down in the mud and have no principles. Yes people have a right to be gay and in 5 states you can marry that way, but to throw Bible in the mud????? Now a word on Keith: yes my parents listen to his every word, and yes he is smart, went to Cornell, used to do Sportscenter, but what DO YOU BELIEVE IN KEITH??????? Just cynicism all day long. Yes Obama is great, but we don't have to bad mouth the opposition ALL DAY LONG.
