Is Glenn Beck the next Hitler? It's possible.

Beck and Palin. Now, if that isn't a comedy act, I don't know what is. As if no one else were a patriot. He being LDS embarrasses me.

Look at all those evil radical right wing nuts at the rally. They look like they don't have a clue as to what patriotism means. They look like a bunch of needy welfare types. Not! I look forward to the reviews by the same old DNC medial outlets telling everybody how the far-righters where just like an angry mob, out to destroy America. While Marxist and Cougarblue lap it up.

If the comments by marxist and Cougar Blue (and especially marxist) reflect the liberal left, then they left their intellectual acumen at the door.

I suppose it bothers many on the left that Beck, nor Palin, didn't attack them or Obama but focused on what Americans could do to better their country. They tried to pay tribute to MLK and the Civil Rights movement and most importantly to me, honor those veterans that were willing to pay the ultimate sacrifice. I guess for some on the left this is sick and wrong.

And the best we can come up with is "Is Glenn Beck the next Hitler?" I'm not even a Republican but if this is the best that the liberal left has to offer, the next election cycle and the 2012 election will be ugly (for them).

From the excerpts of the speeches and the recognition awards given out...how can anyone oppose this? It sounds like a fantastic rally.

America still allows everyone to speak their opinions even when we disagree with them. Many of the comments made here obviously do not know what it means to "RESTORE HONOR" to this country by those who are willing to sacrifice time and money to rally in Washington D.C.! Granted the hearing aids have probably been turned down by the White House Staff and inhabitants....but the news media will have to acknowledge the landmark gathering of concerned Americans from all walks of life! That Glen Beck is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and dares to speak up for America makes me proud.....he is trying to educated people about America and the Constitution....if that offends you then maybe America is not a place for you to reside. I love America, and those who have fought and died to give us the rights and privileges; the freedoms we now enjoy. The Marxists and those who are intolerant of American freedoms and liberties.....your bondage is in your minds....God is still in charge of America! He will fight the battles of the righteous.

It's good when anyone of any denomination or political persuasion stands up and cheers people on to do good, have faith, support the nation.

To rally against that is to support negativity, demean faith, and tear down the nation.

Those who say the Republicans are the party of negativity can't turn around and be negative when someone says something non-partisan positive.

For this man to compare himself to MLK, after making millions by sowing racial divisiveness, is just sick.

Once again the Tea Party and their wingnut leaders(?) demonstrate they don't understand the difference between patriotism and jingoism. The "wonderbread" crowd loved the poor us victim speach by Palin.

This thread reminds me of the BYU football threads . . . the first few comments are usually from the small minded haters whose life goal seems to be the first to comment and spew their drivel. They should simply be ignored. Cougar Blue embarrasses me because of his screen name but marxist seems to have chosen an appropriate handle.

Glenn Beck always delivers a thoughtful and well documented message for his listeners. I don't think it bothers him much when when he is attacked by distracters like some of those here, considering the quality of their arguments.

This was a fine example of our first freedoms.

Mormondem, no it is you who is sick. you're sick of poeple trying to do something good and decent. not just accepting what they are told. but speaking against the devil barely sitting in the white house. I wonder how much tax payer money your idol has wasted on his lavish vacations while his his "fellow" Americans suffer? do you ever think about that? Glen Beck is a righteous man do something great, and wonderful, and honorable for his country. obama certainly has done more than nothing to cheap shot middle class America.........great job democrats on putting America out of business! It speaks volumes that so many Utahns need Beck to tell them to return to god.

Once Utahns valued civility and decorum. Today, they need Beck to return honor to them. :-)

If people like Glenn Beck were around during the 1930's, Hitler would never had got away with what he did.

Whatever you think of Glen Beck etc etc, WHY Palin? I just can't think that ANYBODY--like her how they may, for whatever reasons--would truly, seriously think she would make a good President.

This commitment to her as presidential material truly escapes me.
