I'm envious. How exciting and invigorating.

I miss seeing weather this summer. For most of this summer, it's been perfect, designer weather. We had three days of hot weather this summer. By seven, in the evening; its has been dry, seventy-four with a four to six mile per hour breeze from the south, southwest.

A couple of weeks ago, there were massive thunder cells east over the sierra. They got poured on. There, I haven't seen a drop of precipitation since May. There's been, not a lightning bolt one.

It has dropped to 74 for our highs. I've never had more perfect weather in my life.

This is frightening. Normally, we would have had twenty days over 100. We would have had ten or so days below ninety.

I've seen 116 here. It was so hot it was like living in a furnace. Heat becomes its own force; it controls you.

This has been a interesting summer for weather. I wonder what our winter will be like? We only had four days of frost last winter.

Its uncertainty that makes weather a topic of conversation. It always pitches curves.

@ not_scared - Where were you, you didn't say but 116 is TOO HOT for me.

DEW Cougars

just pick up my wife this morning when she was suppose to be pick up at 6:00 PM yesterday. Her plane was diverted to Boise and I was surprised the plane drop down 300 ft and luckly she was near the front. People in the back who were seated w/o in seat belt was floated straight up to the ceiling. Several people refused to stay over night in Boise and drove down to SLC because they were scared to fly again. My son who is 9 years old thought it felt like Tower of Terror. :-( that was scary!

Not So Good

West Farmington still doesn't have power. I guess the food in our fridge/freezer is now a total loss.
