Good luck, Utes!!!

And thank you, Chris Hill and Coach Kyle for develivering Pac-12 to us --it sure beats the choice of WAC!!!

I din't know that Lennon & McCartney were Ute fans.

I've got to admit it's getting better
A little better all the time
I have to admit it's getting better
It's getting better

Can't wait for the farewell tour of the MWC to begin!

Yep, we are officially a short two weeks away (though I bet they are going to go by slowly). Its a great time to be a ute. No conference changing distraction. We know where we are and where we are headed. Time to buckle down and play some ball.

BTW, I wonder how many of our recievers are going to transfer. We are so deep there, a lot of these guys are not going to sniff playing time. but its good, if someone isn't performing, we just go to the next guy. Good problem to have. Ditto at running back.

6'4" Dexter Ransom at wide receiver!

Lets get that guy into shape and running the out-routes.

The Utes could use a tall receiver who can catch the ball in the back of the end zone. Last year's red-zone offense was horrible during the first half of the season.

Lets go Dex! Get it together!

Just think how much better the Utes could be if they joined the WAC along with BYU.

I'm excited for this season, should be a lot of fun, especially with a great NC schedule!

Go Utes!

I was just catching up on BYU news. Good grief, I am so thankful to be a Utah fan. Thanks Dr. Hill for delivering on a solid, well thought out strategy.

Go UTES!!!

Good luck Utes! Will be a great year!

The "target" will be squarely back on the zoobs for this bone-head move! LOL

Go Utes! Go Crimson! Smelling like roses!

I am very excited for this season, it will be one of our tougher ones yet, but a lot of fun to watch as I think we can compete in our touch games (TCU does scare me a bit).

Go Utes!

It is great to have grabbed such a talented WR like Dexter. However, it would have been better to get him earlier in the year so he could have done some summer conditioning. It sounds like he is sucking a little air, due to the altitude.

I think that the injuries are something to be expected. There is a time period where they are more common. Whitt thinks that they are just about done. I hope that they are about done with these minor injuries and all are at 100% come game time in 2 weeks.

Wouldn't it just be better to have a couple change over to DB's?

I'm not convinced. How are we getting better when Jordan Wynn is our quarterback and Terence Cain is still putting up way better numbers?

When you start the better players, you'll play better. Easy equation.

This Pitt game will be uglier than the BYU athletic department's future.

USportsFan

UteFan24,

What about Cain's numbers do you think is better?

Cain may have a slightly better completion %... But Wynn is putting up numbers that are almost equal in % and better yard/completion.

Cain is a great QB, but Whittingham thinks that Wynn is better for this offense. They have different styles of play. And I think that Wynn probably fits more what Kyle, or the offensive coordinator, want in a QB.

I think that the Pitt game will be tough, but not as ugly as you think.

Cain is playing against the 2's while Wynn is playing against the 1's. Easier to put up #'s against the 2's. Glad to have Cain as the back up though. He is plenty capable.

Cain had better numbers last year. Wynn turned out to be the better quaterback.

Is it just me...it feels so GOOD (actually, it feels TREMENDOUSLY GREAT) to be a Utes fan recently?????

Utes: to be in Pac-12 in 2011

BYU: struggling to respond to the Utes move to Pac-12 but not wanted by Big-12, is trying the old AA WACky or WCc. How pathetic!!!

It's sure good to be a Utes fan!!!

PS...I do feel for our little brothers in Provo...

Simple, the offense line believes in Wynn. When the beef is all on the same page, the rest of the offense follows suit, otherwise, you had better be good at creating your own offense without a line to open holes or protect your QB. Cains is good, but Wynn...well he just wins :)

P.S., better athletes, better recruits, better conference... :)

The Asiata's get hurt a lot. What kind of speed to they have? Do they make their yards running over people, but get banged up in the process?

Any word on Shakerin's latest injury? That kid needs to change his running style or do something different.

I'm not worried about Utah at RB, 4 great looking backs, that's crazy! Coach Mac would even be proud of this brood!
