How can people obtain ID theft protections when government and welfare departments endorse ID theft? ID theft needs more severe and punishing laws criminalizing ID theft for any reason. And make it applicable to any government agency and its department personnel. Make it a felony so people must remain behind bars and not a catch and release crime.
