What an irresponsible comment for the city to make, if the developers doesn't finish his work, the city will? And the developer walks away with millions of dollars? Truly an ignoramus in government leadership.
Every time that I hear or read the name Terry Diehl I cringe. If I was on a city council and he came before me to present a development, I'd tell him to go and pound sand. The gentleman is horribly ethically challenged. If you have any questions about that Google his name.
I'd be happy to have a field next to my neighborhood rather than another neighborhood!
If the bond is a Surety, then good luck. Even if the council calls the bond it will take months if not years to get the surety company to pay up.
