God's word is true, we just need to understand it.
Good luck. God bless.
I can see reason for these ideas, but many people will not because of what their minister has told them since they were children. Perhaps when the great judgement day comes for us all then maybe enlightenment will occur. But not until then. Actually if you look at the world we live on and see how diverse and well organized it is, then it stands to reason that there is some beings of HIGH intelligence that ha caused this world and universe to be as it is and seems to keep tabs frequently on all that is on this earth. Yes, I am LDS.
And I would argue just the opposite: When you look at the world from the beginning of the inhabitance of people, and year after year people come (birth) and people go (death), with the religious right, forever, telling us all the end is near, with poor countries still poor, and rich countries still rich, and those who say they believe, but live their lives as if they do not, yet show up to church on Sunday as if it's all okay, with children suffering needlessly from various ailments, it stands to reason that we are just an organism on this earth along with everything else, and that there is no God that controls what happens here. Yes, I am an athiest.
I look at like this....
God is a title,
like the word, President.
Even in the Church --
We have a President of the Church - Pres. Monson.
But we also have Presidents of the Quorum of the 12.
Stake Presidents.
Relief Society Pres.
Elders Quorum Pres.
Primary Pres.
Teacher's Quorum Pres.
Deacon's Quorum Pres.
Laurel's Pres.
Mia Maids' Pres.
BeeHive Pres.
But when we say - President, we all know who and which ONE.
again - just my opinion.

freedom, agency, choice, can very difficult ( use can use the B word if you wish) for us as well as how it can affect others.
which is why we will be judged according to our works, and not our lip service to God.
It stands to reason.
RE: xscribe: No such thing as atheist, only misinformed or mal-indoctrinated. You have to be taught atheism, innately we all believe in a God. Darwin who is the father of doubt existed in the 1800's and embedded doubt but before him there was little. Here's why. It was a little over 1000 years from Adam to the flood. However, Noah's grandfather knew Adam personally as well as millions of others living at the time of Noah so there was plenty of personal testimony that he lived. Abraham was alive for 60 years before Noah died so he and the millions of people alive during his time would have personally known the flood to have been true and Noah as the oldest man alive. Abraham had Isaac, Isaac had Jacob and only 4 generations later Moses was born with enough personal testimony and facts that Abraham's accounts were also authentic. Moses was the first written account we have of these facts. It took another 3000 years to get far enough away from the facts and billions of testimonies for someone to come up with a scheme to doubt it all. And you're an atheist why?
