Well I would hope they would be concerned about prosecution. Do things legally and they wouldn't have to worry. ALL people who do illegal things should face the music. I hope the State listens to the quiet majority on this topic, and prosecutes to the hilt.

This is outrageous and criminal by the DWS and these illegal foreign national terrorist. The crime and its criminals have been exposed and this department comes out and says fraud is okay? Come on Corroon, do your job, prosecute the DWS department heads and activist who are openly defrauding the tax payers with blatant and out right fraud, then continue to encourage others to continue their fraud.

It's not about trust anymore, its about the truth and what the DWS is doing to encourage identity theft. The illegal aliens have learned that the wrath of the people has more power than their lies and DWS fraud. It's very apparent that the illegal aliens know they have been exposed and what they are doing is illegal and criminal.

The DWS better get off this phony act they are putting on and ask forgiveness from at least the 1300 stolen American identities they knew about. If the DWS gives aid or funds to an illegal they know they are committing a crime because no illegal has an identity or work history, at least not in any records. The DWS thinks deception and lies are acceptable.

The information on this list is available to anyone who wants to pay money to a search site on the internet. Finding the info is not hard. These groups that are pitching a fit need to clam up and support the rule of law when it comes to the people that they supposedly represent. What they don't relize is that the trust that people have for the Hispanic community is diminished every time that these people pitch a fit. If they want trust, they should encourage their people to obey the law.

Quit wasting money on councils like this. The people move in, become citizens and if they don't like how things are run... run for office themselves. Quit the whining? We don't trust YOU either and with good reason. Your actions speak louder than your words.

What have the "Latino advisers" done to stop illegal immigration or get illegals to go home?

Are they part of the problem or part of the solution?

Are they breaking the law by providing aid and comfor to illegals?

Third try screen name

Benefits eligibility screening using the SSN is a valid federal program. It's called SAVE. It was instituted because in 1986 and again in 1996 the congress passed laws forbidding all but emergency care for illegal aliens.
This is just another case of Latino activists asking politicians to ignore the law and wink at their special population.
The race card and identity politics are wearing very thin as social services go broke and the jobs aren't there to supply tax revenue.

And I am having trouble trusting more and more latinos as I have to deal with more and more illegal latinos.
I have to deal with them almost daily. Law requires that I ask for ID when filling certain types of meds. It ALWAYS becomes a problem, because Utah law spells out what is legal ID. I agree with DN Subscribed 8:42 in what have the advisers done ????

"...Council member Carlos Linares said others believe that the department is using the list to prosecute illegal immigrants on it who may have used bogus Social Security numbers, or that the state will use data it collects about illegal immigrants to help deport them.

Dave Lewis, the department's communications director, said those beliefs are false..."

Carlos, YOU should be encouraging the list to be used to ID, and prosecute, those on the list if they are here illegally! If you are not, you DO NOT have any business representing our citizens. Oh, wait, you ARE NOT representing them, are you? Shame on you!

Dave Lewis, why on earth would you say these beliefs are false? Surely you jest, right? IF you are not lying to these illegal aliens, then you should resign, for you are NOT doing your job either!

What ever happened to being a proud American, willing to stand up for the rights of American citizens?

"He said the department does not intend to use information from the list to prosecute anyone. However, the attorney general's office has said it will investigate and perhaps prosecute any Social Security fraud it finds related to the list."

PERHAPS!!! PERHAPS!!! I guess what the rest of us ought to do is go and commit crimes of all kinds and just dare the State or Feds to do anything about it. This kind of language is getting really sad. The bleeding continues and our leaders are doing NOTHING about it. I continue to work my butt off for illegals to enjoy their food stamps and free health care and education, and what thanks do I get? Maybe they should come and mow my lawn and grow my garden and wash my car for me since I am the one who is paying their health care and children's education and putting food in their bellies.

Our largest food production corporations have knowingly broken the law for decades hiring undocumented workers to harvest crops, work in food processing and meat packing plants. If the wishes of many who have commented about this article come true, food prices will skyrocket without cheap labor. And mixed-status families will be torn apart. All the more reason we need comprehensive immigration reform at the federal level. This reform is being fought tooth and nail by Senate Republicans, including Hatch & Bennet.

The community at large has a trust issue with you, illegal aliens. I have issue with you stealing my bicycle, drawing graffitti on my walls, vandalizing my neighborhood, and stealing my identity so you can rack up cell phone bills in my name. When this stops, we can talk about your 'trust' issues with us, but not until then.

March 2006: House Bill 4437: The Border Protection, Antiterrorism, and Illegal Immigration Control Act

June 1998: Vicente Fox Governor of Guanajuarto, proclaims that the citizens and people of Mexico (Tribunal Fiscal de la Federacin.) are poised to declare war (to exercise dispute settlement provisions of NAFTA) on the United States unless the U.S. takes immediate action to assist Mexico and Central/ South American countries economically, blaming a failure of N.A.F.T.A. on the United States (1994) unless the Mexican peso has the ability to compete with the American dollar. Under Fox the value of the peso slid from 8th world wide to 14th

March 2000: Fox declares in Washington at a meeting with drug policy Chief Barry McCaffrey that Mexico is more concerned about the trafficking of humans as cheap labor for U.S. companies in Mexico than the trafficking in drugs to the States at the border, which is a U.S. problem

I agree with them about releasing the list to others to notify people on the list. It should of stayed in the hands of the people it was sent to. I would like to know how Tony Yapais received a copy?

The Latino leaders need to repair there own reputation. They should not be helping people here illegally get housing or work according to the law.

If they want to make the situation better, they need to come out in favor of legal immigration. Always complaining, but not doing anything about it on their end gets old.

SLars

They really don't make things easier for the Latino's in the state, do they?

To many citizens of this country the Latino advisers have a big trust problem. Saying things like this won't help.

If not mistaken they are upset that stolen social security numbers will be used to find fraud in the welfare system? Standing up for your people is one thing, but trying to prevent law enforcement against identity theft is another.

“These Are Federal Emergency Issues Contact Your Congress & The President Now So They Have To Work Through Aug Break!!!”

Enough is enough! Legal U.S citizens unite! Help take the steps to save our country take our jobs back and stop this illegal immigrant invasion. Support our cause before illegal immigrant criminals have more rights than us. This is our last stand!

Cont,

If other online articles report unemployment is around 20% and there are 310 million in the U.S census reports. Then there is as many as 62 million people in the U.S that are unemployed & are able to work fulltime. Do we have to reach 150 million unemployed before we take action? Also we must take steps to lower local city and state councilmen salaries too they are all robbing & hurting the people they serve. So please read and sign this online petition. "Petition to Reduce the Wages of Congress Men and Women from $174,000 per year to $50,000 per year at “change.org’. " Link is below!
