It seems like California's Proposition 22, a Defense of Marriage Act passed in 2000, should have been included here. This is the second time that judges have overruled the people in California on this issue.
It isn't judges overruling the people of California. Its the Constitution striking down a discriminatory law. big difference.
Is marriage part of the constitution? I think not.
