National Volleyball Tournament
Warren Van Schalkwyk is part of the Utah Valley 40s men's volleyball team competing for a title in the USA Volleyball National Championships held this weekend at the Salt Palace. The team defeated another Utah team in its first game Friday, Sweet Yams, 25-19, 25-22, to earn a bye for the first round of the double elimination bracket that will determine the over-40 champion.

24 Seniors is not enough for Grand to win it all. I predict a semifinal loss again this year. Grand Red Devils more like Grand baby cakes.
Ya I agree. They may have 24 seniors but they dont have hardly anything returning. They will be a semifinal team because its a weak 2A division other than South Summit and San Juan.
I think Grand will have a great season this year. San Juan and South Summit are the teams to beat, but Grand's quarterback is dangerous. I predict they at least make the semis along with South Summit, San Juan and Millard.
24 Seniors only means that they have depth. But, how good is that depth? You can still only put 11 on the field at a time.
