The painting was a class act! What a way to be remembered. I wouldn't have it any other way!
The saddest testimonial here is our own government fails to show the same respect and admiration of our military as a group of motorcyclists do every day.
Great credit goes to Sgt. Jake Taylor for months of detailed work giving his talent to make the car beautiful. Jake has worked through all hours of the day and night over the last several months to create a memorial for Dan Dolan's family even as Jake was fighting with the emotions and memories of his own unspeakable trials of combat from his tour in Irag, physical and emotional wounds that are constantly present in his life. Jake came within a hair's distance of losing his life several times as several of his close friends were killed and he and others wounded. Jake and his wife and family are still paying the price of his wounds every day. He was proud to serve his country with his fellow soldiers and would gladly do it again if the Army would allow him. He loves his country and fellow soldiers and was happy to give his time and talents to bless the lives of the Dolan family and his fellow soldiers who have or are serving in the military. To a great hero and soldier --- Sgt. Jake Taylor we honor you too! Thank you for your service!
