That no wonder as women in Utah are treated like second class citizens; it only stands to reason that the meager wage they pay them brings down the whole wage pool. Don't know when the women of Utah will wake up.
Don't believe this for a second. Mean wages also includes millionaire CEO's multimillion dollar incomes which drastically alters the truth in wages reports.
The only jobs in Utah that even come close to $19/hr are government workers. Even many with college degree's can barely scratch that kind of wage from a job. Are these figures the reason they justify people working jobs for tips as their wage? In other words, the employers don't have to pay any wages, workers have to beg for their wage from customers. Then the employer confiscates all tips as their property to use as wages for all workers. Tips are given to workers, not employers.
Also this report does not include non reported incomes of illegal aliens and employers. When it comes to wages and income reports they are so inaccurate its deceitful misinformation.
Seems correct to me. I make probably about 25% less then I would if I lived in many other states and did the same exact work.
