Has anyone ever seen a union back anyone but a Democrat? I am not impressed.
Yes, Richard, this same police union endorsed the current DA, a Republican, in the last election. I think it speaks volumes that the organizations that represent more than 550 law enforcement personnel in Salt Lake County have chosen to throw their support behind Sim Gill. These are men and women who put their lives on the line every day to protect and serve our community and the candidate they choose to support is Sim Gill - I think their judgement is spot on.

These organizations collectively represent over 550 men and women who put their lives on the line every day to protect and serve our community. I think it speaks volumes that they have chosen to support Sim Gill for District Attorney, especially considering that the current District Attorney touted support of law enforcement personnel as such a large part of her last campaign. Maybe we should ask a cop now, huh?
