4TH? Isnt that where the Utes finished in the MWC last year!!! Maybe the MWC should replace Utah State for U of U. Its an even trade and with BSU coming in, its looking like the MWC is going to be stronger than the pac ten+.

What morons voted for Nevada to win the WAC? 1 coach and 1 media member. Someone didn't want a unanimous vote I guess. They should immediately have their voted taken away.

It will be interesting to see how GA can build momentum with the Aggies. The guy can coach and recruit. I hope he can turn that program back around to respectibility.

Willy, BYU will make ten BCS bowls before your utes see another one. Good luck in the pac ten. Arizona and Arizona state are sooooo happy that the utes and Colorado are the new door mats of the pac ten+.

Wow, USU was voted 4th. That's tops of the cellar dwellars below the usual top 3. Yeah coach, that's real respect. It's embarrassing when 4th is the highest a school has ever been in preseason polls. If they can't make it above 4th with 20 returning players, USU will never be anything again in football. With BYU, Oklahoma, and SDSU on the schedule, it's hard to imagine anything better than 6-6.

I have no doubt Gary Anderson will turn the program around. USU needs to work on a plan to keep him in Logan.

With BSU leaving in 2011, Fresno St. and Nevada would appear to be the only schools standing in the way of a league championship.

Striker: I don't think SDSU is a guaranteed loss for Utah State, other than the fact that USU is playing them in San Diego, I believe Utah State should be favored to win that game. Let's look at how USU and SDSU did against common opponents last year:

USU vs. SUU: W 53-34
SDSU vs. SUU: W 35-19

Both USU and SDSU played SUU at home. USU performed better with more productive offence and a 19 point gap rather than SDSU's 16 point win.

USU @ BYU: L 35-17
SDSU vs. BYU: L 28-38

USU lost by 18 points in Provo in front of 65 thousand fans. SDSU lost by 8 less points in their home stadium. This one, in my opinion, is a tie.

USU @ Idaho: W 52-49
SDSU @ Idaho: L 20-34

USU clearly performed better against Idaho.

USU @ NMSU: L 20-17
SDSU vs. NMSU: W 34-17

USU lost by three in New Mexico. SDSU beat NMSU at home by 17. I'll give this on to SDSU.

SDSU @ Utah: L 7-38

Count me as one BYU fan that is genuinely worried about the game @USU this year. Coach Anderson has them on the right track for sure.....lots of great athletes

Would love to see the Aggies bring some respect back to their football program. Attended USU the last time they beat Utah which was awhile ago. Would love to see the Aggies have a football team that their Alums could have some pride in.

I am really hopeful the aggies turn it around. I think Gary Anderson is the man to do it and I think they are going to win 7 or 8 games this year. Heck, I think they'll put a scare into BYU.

It had to start somewhere. Last year there was major shift in the attitude and heart that the team played with. Expect that what started last year will covert to Wins this year.
