Ann:

Like you, I dreamed of running a marathon, and then finally did something about it. Like you, I listed my reasons for wanting to do so, but ultimately I really just wanted to say I'd run a marathon. Now I've completed many, and I'm here to tell you you don't need a reason; simply get out there and do it for the sake of completing it. It changes your life for the better in every way - that becomes all the motivation you'll need to do it again and again.

See you on the road!

One of my favorite places to run is outside your doorstep.
I love running through the Avenues. Lots of shade and plenty of fun homes to distract me.
My most favorite place to run is City Creek Canyon.
Again lots of shade, cool, quiet and it's a little hard going up but worth it when you turn around and come down. All the hard work is done at the half way point. Plus it's great training to get used to the hills in St. George. Especially the down hill part. Good Luck.....I failed to get in the lottery this year. I'm running Park City's Marathon next month.
