When are the taxpayers going to rise up and demand that our legislators put an end to this legal "extortion" perpetrated by our wonderful trial lawyers masquerading as defenders of our rights? The reason these very questionable lawsuits are filed is because the plaintiffs and their lawyers hide behind the laws that protect them from paying the legal costs of defendants that win. Alas, the playing field will never be level since the Trial Lawyers Assoc. is such a big contributor to politicians' election campaigns. No other western nation allows such legal garbage to exists. What a country we live in!
