If you listen to G Gordan Liddy, a #2 sharpened pencil is the best defensive weapon you can carry on a plane. I think that some one is loosing alot of sleep trying to catagorize what is and isn't a weapon. The fact is that you must refer to the use of an item, eating utensils for a picnic or barbque is alright but guns, chains and other types of agressive items that are associated with violence should be banned.
