Dr. Box's has an incredible story and his message is an important one.
I work in the medical field and when pts die, so often, their organs could be used to truly and literally save lives. When I was in the ICU we had patients with viable organs passing away weekly. Very few would have their organs donated (even if they wanted to) due to family getting in the way. Although it's logistically more difficult and at a very hard time, families should still think abou t what their loved one would want.
