If I were a baker, and wanted to have some fancy cut-outs - this certainly looks like it would fit the bill. I saw it the other day in Michaels and nearly flipped at the fact that the "sweet" Cricut will cut fondant. Pretty ingenius!
The article was okay but the title makes you think you'll actually learn about how the cricut does cake. I think it was in there somewhere. It's nice to know about the company though.
