Kyle your a class act and we will miss having you around. Good luck in your future endeavors.
Kyle will be missed. He was a cool guy. Great shooter. Thankfully, he didn't go to a western conference team where he could get in our way. Too bad he has to keep putting up with boozer
Teenage girls all over Utah are weeping right now...
Im pretty sure NO former Jazz player has ever written a thank you letter to Jazz fans. I always liked KK, but now I have a whole new respect for him. Good luck in Chi-town, Kyle!
Class Act for sure.
I wish more players could be like him. Yes, he left the team and did for his best interest but did in the way you would want a player to leave. It is nice to see someone see a lot of positives that others wouldn't want to see. This is very respectful of him. I won't be cheering for the bulls but I won't be booing Kyle Korver either. I wish more NBA players could do the same.
Heck of a guy. Can't believe we let him go.
Its a whole lot better feeling when people part as friends instead of enemies. Id rather root for them in the East instead of Miami. When they play here lets give all three a good welcome.
As the female companion of Old Timer I would like to reply as to my feelings of Kyle Korver. I too am from Iowa and was always so proud of the way Kyle conducted himself on-court and off-court. And my being female speaks for itself. I don't think there will be any "boo's" when he visits the Jazz floor. I'm happy he's closer to his family and I'm sure that had a big part in his leaving. He came in with class and he left with class. Good luck, Kyle.
re: sports-junkie
Actually, it hasn't happened often, but I do remember a full-page ad in the tribune some years ago after Karl Malone left, thanking the organization, fans, etc for all the support during his time in Utah. As much as I hated seeing him go to the fakers, I respected him even more following that ad.
KK follows that mold- someone who is grateful for the opportunities he has in life, and is one of the few decent enough to express that gratitude. I would love to see him back in Utah in a few years, when his and Bell's contracts are over maybe (?).
Good luck to Kyle in the future- just won't be cheering for the bulls anytime soon. Thank you KK, for the memories while you were here.
@jazzball
We probably let him go because he's Gordon Hayward with far less upside. It's easy to forget he's already 29. Doesn't mean I'm happy with the decision, class guy.
You'll be missed Kyle. The sports world could use a lot more classy guys like you. Best of luck to you in the future, except when you play against the Jazz! :)
Kyle,I sincerely wish you the best out in Chicago. It has been great watching you play the last few years. I and most other Jazz fans will miss that thrill in our stomachs every time you shot a three-pointer.We thought they would all go in. Hope you and the Bulls tear up the east and please take it easy on the Jazz this year.
Kyle had his faults, most do even DWIl. He loved the game and we cannot forget when he came 3 years we were like 17-17. We won like 36 out of 48. He did a god job for the Jazz, turning an injury into the top 3 point shooter in the league.
This one off season, both Bulls and Jazz benefitted with new moves, so lets be happy for both
If the fans boo him next year, or Brewer, we have no class. Please give them the respect they deserve.
the chicago bulls is now my 2nd fave team after the jazz. it would be fun to watch boozer, brewer and korver play in chicago. as korver said, the 3 of them will make chicago the jazz of the east. can't wait to see the chicago jazz play!
People.... there will be NO BOOOOOING at Kyle or Ronnie B!!! It is my understanding that Utah did not even make an attempt to resign KK. He didn't choose to leave the Jazz....the Jazz brass left him. I'm sure he would have stayed... he is a classy guy. I expect to hear nothing but CHEERS for the guy when he returns with the Bulls to play in ESA. I'll be waiting!!! As for Boozer...If you wanted to leave the Jazz...get your own dang players and quit taking our team with you!!
I wish I could feel happy about how nice this guy is, but, man, I wish he would have stayed on the team. But, yeah, I understand. :(
Thanks Kyle! You're welcome back any time.
Good luck in Chicago.
Kyle you are the best guy the Jazz will never miss.
Great for the community but not so great for the team. Hope that you do better in Chicago, not may people get a second chance but it seems you will with Boozer and Ronnie B. who are both great players and who the team will miss.
