UTA does not need a union to operate effectively. I would like to see the union disbanded and let the free market happen. People will be paid what the market will bear. If UTA needs more skilled people they will need to pay more, however if a parttimeer can drive a train, let them.
Inglish and Allegra need to share their expensive salaries to help pay increases for the drivers; and yes, the drivers should go on strike.
Sounds like the unions are doing exactly wghat they are supposed to do, keeping the highly piad upper management from ripping them off to keep their salaries high.
