    toddfromsantaana -

I feel like you don't really know what you're talking about.

The Jazz have been one of the best teams in the league for 20+years thanks to Jerry Sloan and the Miller family.

This is actually a remarkable feat, considering they're located in Salt Lake City - a small market and not exactly a free agent's dream come true.

Take a look at some of the comparable teams in the league and tell me who you'd rather we emulate as an organization:

    T-Wolves?
    Nuggets?
    Pacers?
    Bucks?
    Bobcats?
    Grizzlies?

As far as I'm concerned, Sloan can stay as long as he wants.

Here is mature discussion that will make many happy

The moral of today story is "Mr Houseman"

    Sloan is Great
    SLoanaholics Greater
O connor will be in Hall of Fame
Greg Miller cares about WInning Only
    Fans care seriously about winning
Davie Locke actually will not blast someone who does not love Current Championship roster

Maybe the best thing is the REAL FANS should want TOUGH LOVE

That is for the whole thing "to fall apart"

FORCING SLOAN TO QUIT AND O CONNOR TO BE FIRED

As it is today the Jazz will likely be battling Portland, maybe Memphis and the Cloppers for the 8th and final playoff spot

The best wakeup call to THIS STATE TO DEMAND CHANGE IS FOR THE SHIP TO SINK

It is sad for me to say that, horribly so. Unfortunately, that will be the only thing that makes this state understand I am tired of just making the playoffs with the SLOAN system that come playoff time has limitations

I do not care about Sloan and Despise his "sloanaholics"

They are the reason O Connor is doing what he is doing''
    Nothing

    @SportzFan

Excellent post. My thoughts exactly. Maybe they will ask John Amaechi next.

    To SportzFan:

Those were my thoughts exactly. What about Williams, AK, or Okur? I don't follow the Jazz extremely closely, but I have no idea who these two are other than new players.

Could be a very entertaining season and could be a disaster... No one knows if PM can consistently take Boozer's place on offense but we know he'll be better than CB on defense. Augustine as backup PF? Kirelenko as an active 3 and DW pulling all the pieces together... Maybe. Adds to the drama. If Sloan can make them all play as a team, they could exceed 50 wins and make the playoffs he'll be a shoe-in for Coach of the Year runner up.

Its a shame that "It's business" has become the motto of today's athletes. Its no wonder our children don't understand what "loyalty" means anymore. Where is the commitment to the team? To the Fans? To the owners who take great risks to give you an obscene paycheck. The lack of commitment and loyalty and sacrifice for the team is undermining this country, in business, in relationships,in families. Social unity is dying out because being selfish is the new "business."

Othyus Jeffers and Sundiata Gaines? Might as well get the ushers to comment.
