Isn't this Obama's idea of taxation? It's what he wants, tax the more affluent with higher taxes. Tax successful people to feed the poor.
So how many of the IRS tax returns were from non-resident illegal aliens? That is information the states can use to crack down on employers and illegal employees defrauding on their taxes. By law, all illegals are required to file a tax return, regardless of income, even if they have no income.
I think it funny that many in this state act like the foot of big government is on their back when a good portion of them don't pay any federal taxes to speak of. I make more than average and as a result pay far more than average and I think that is fair to a point. But again it is funny to me that a family for four or five making the average household income pays very little in income taxes yet many complain of their unfair burden; the math just doesn’t add up — maybe be a little too much of Rush and Beck brainwashing.
