It is about time that some one brought attention to this serious issue. Too many modern parents want to be friends, not parents. In order to be friends, they refuse to impose rules, impose consequences, or even tell their children "No."
With over indulgent parents, it is not surprising that so many children are becoming binge drinkers. With modern Hollywood producing one movie after another in which drinking to excess is portrayed as an enjoyable activity with no consequences, it is not surprising that so many lives are being ruined by alcohol.
