It is funny how Utah constantly criticizes wasteful government spending, until it affects their bottom line.

No, it's not funny in this case. The wasteful spending continues under Obama. This isn't about saving NASA money. Obama's plan increases NASA topline spending by $6 billion over 5 more years than was projected under Constellation! So obama spends MORE taxpayer money, and still terminates 25,000 jobs nationwide, along with our nation's manned-spaceflight program, with his cancel Constellation scheme. The $9 billion already spent on Constellation would go to waste under his plan. It's an outrage. This is not hope and change we can believe in. Our nation is weaker for it, both militarily and in space leadership. Obama would rather spend our $$ on social programs and stuff like fraud-ridden ACORN, bailouts and handouts.

" Obama would rather spend our $$ on social programs and stuff like fraud-ridden ACORN"

1) ACORN doesn't even exist any more
and
2) ACORN has been exonerated of all of the accusations and slanders thrown at it.

It amazes me how the golden carrot for the Republicans has always been PRIVATIZATION of EVERYTHING (education, social security, health care, etc) and now that Obama has said that manned space travel should be a private venture, the Republicans kick and scream.

You cannot have it both ways!
