I didn't understand why the people voted the way they did in these two elections - Commissioner and Recorder. Anderson seemed like more of the status quo and establishment. I liked Wright's ideas to expand the commission to better represent the county and to limit spending. As for the Recorder race, I must have missed some mailing or something because I couldn't find much from either candidate in regards to any plans, just descriptions of the office they were running for which does nothing to tell me of their goals. I was concerned with the claim that Smith didn't provide input into the new system being developed at the office. Seemed to me the Commissioner race was the more critical and the few voters just voted back in the establishment. Again I think sheeple and lack of imagination among the voters. :P Just wish more had come out to vote and more became educated about the candidates instead of voting based on name recognition.
