Can we get a view of this quilt? There were lots of exciting things going on in 1857. My grandmother, Lulu Mae Cook (1899-1995) also reminded us often not to forget the terrible tragedy that occurred on Sept. 11, 1857. All of her years as president of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, she never failed to pray for the families of the slain wagon-train from Arkansas, perpetrated by the members of the Iron County Militia.
I don't know when the quilt was completed, but if post September 11, I hope mention of this event was also portrayed on it. Where can we find a picture of the actual quilt?
