Not sure the wisdom of this. Does Guatamala have infrastructure to support the ambulances? Do they have the capacity to maintain the used vehicles? Do they have the medical supplies to stock the vehicles? This sounds like the LDS chapels where in Tonga where the indoor facilities complete with organs were totally unsuitable for the local needs and thus ended up wasted resources. Hate to be a wet blanket, but this could be another well intentioned but poorly planned effort to help the poor.
My money says these vehicles end up on a farm or rusted out on the side of the road somewhere.
