As a person who was directed to leave Pioneer Park by a representative of the Downtown Alliance during a Saturday Farmer's Market -- because I was circulating a petition -- I respectfully disagree with the headline.
Notably, the redesign of Pioneer Park excludes a free speech area, that the pre-redesign park included in the area bordering 400 South.
The corporatist incumbent political class has succeeded in reducing the physical space available -- on taxpayer-supported real estate -- to challenge its unjust rule.
