RIP-Troll-
A loyal service Dog of the SLCPD @
I thought this was going to be about the human officer. Glad to hear it wasn't. Sorry for the owner. It's always hard to lose an animal/pet. I love my own dogs as if they were members of our family.
Troll did his job, above and beyond especially in his last days. I hope that Officer Lennberg is matched with another fine canine police companion.
As I understand it, Troll was a police officer, so I am sorry to hear of a loss to the force. My condolences to the force and to Officer Lennberg.
I wish people would please stop putting these service dogs on the level of a police officer. They are great animals that have served us well but they do not put their paw to the square and mindfully swear an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America.
A dog being on par with a human or an Officer is a dangerous precedence to set.
