"The lake, 25 miles long and 13 miles wide, is one of the largest, natural freshwater lakes north of the Mississippi."

I have never heard of the Mississippi River being used as anything but an East/West dividing line. Are you sure about this North/South thing, DesNews...?

I have several maps if you need one....

Okay, so the writer is directionally challenged.

What in the world do they do with 5 million pounds of carp? The only use I can think of for carp is fertilizer, or maybe cat food.

An article on the Utah Lake commercial carp fishing industry could be interesting.

I hope they promote the proposed toll-bridge and its negative environmental impact at this event.

The largest natural lake, west of the Mississippi River. Paradise, to me, and many others. Wonder why I'm still doing it after 35+ years? Gotta try the course before you can even make an observation, certainly before criticizing, you know, "walk a mile in my shoes..." Better to stay in your comfort zone than try something you can't get out of your system. Think drugs are addicting? This, this is addicting! I dare you.

Carp is the most eaten fresh water fish in the world, and a Jewish delicasy(sp). Take all the other fresh water fish, combined, and they don't dent the tonnage of carp consumed by the world populace. Why, I make a delicious carp chouder, with fresh cabbage, potatoes, corn, etc.
