Um, yeah right.
As if NYC, San Francisco, LA, Houston, Chicago won't be easier to start a business. I love the idea, but kind of think it is optimistic.

If you had "better wages" you'd be off the list. SLC wages are about average for the country - at about the same level as Austin, Boulder and Des Moines. After adjusting for cost of living, each of these cities actually pays better than places like LA, NYC and Chicago.

In Salt Lake you have an inversion layer to add ambiance. Compare this to San Francisco where you have the ocean, redwoods, the bay and even fog. These lists are funny. I would have placed Santa Fe over Topeka. It has wonderful art, people architecture and wow, the food.

I still have fond memories of New Mexico.

SF ? LA ? Your kidding right ? SF is so anti-business that its insane. LA may be better as far as that goes but your still in Ca., one of the most oppressive states to do business in.

Theres a reason why business's are fleeing Ca. in droves.
