Of all the criminals, people who kidnap kids are the lowest and deserve no mercy.
They are low but for my money, those who abuse, molest or kill children are lower.
Am I reading this article to say that no one has looked at this case since 1966? In other words, no DNA taken before now? I hope their answers, if he is indeed dead, can be answered in one of the data bases which compare DNA. How sad to think their answer may have been available for more than a decade, but no one thought to take DNA from the family to check before now.
The remains of a young white male were found near Olympus Cove on March 2nd, 2010 - and investigators believe the remains had been there "at least ten years".
This reopening (with the family giving DNA) may be connected to that find.
So sad. I hope these families get some closure soon.
After many years, many years..Do hope finding soon Closure. As pain they suffered finding missing person
Thank you Reasonable Person. I was trying to find a reason that they reopened the case. It seems weird to me that they would just reopen a case without having cause.
It still might be a cold case. 45 years is a long time...
