I say no. think he knows that he has done bad agains them and he will have a cooler head for this game.

Red White and Blue 2010

I think so. He usually only gets red cards in houston. Keep a cool head Jamison no stupid tackles

This will be a tough match and RSL needs to field its best Eleven. If Jason wanted to give Olave a rest it should have been last week against the weaker team from Philidelphia. Houston will be tough and 3 points are critical play Olave and let the chips fall where they will.

RSL1

I agree Olave needs to play if he is healthy. He is a rock back there. Houston doesn't have any magical power over Olave.

@ RSL1
Well Olave magically gets a red card every time he plays against houston.. just saying

therush

Doesn't matter. MLS is a joke because it has playoffs. As RSL proved last year you don't need to be consistent to win the title.

omar

I meant to say yes play him

astroboy

if ching plays then so should olave.

randal

Absolutely Olave should play at least some of the game if not all. Olave gets under Ching's skind just as much as Ching gets under Olave's. That is a huge part about what makes RSL vs. Houston fun to watch. To not play Olave because of questionable calls in the past would be capricious. Give the fans and everybody watching on ESPN2 a good show. Olave is possibly the most intimidating defender in the MLS.

RSL1

therush - why are playoffs a joke. Are you telling me if the English Premier League was starting an 8 team playoff next week you wouldn't watch it? It would be huge. Playoffs are fun to watch. Now you can argue which is more impressive a regular season champion or a playoff champion, but you can't argue that playoffs arn't exciting.

Red White and Blue 2010

ESPN in utah again after the jazz lose. Hopefully RSL will win at home unlike the jazz...

Olave should play. Yes, he made some mistakes in Houston, but he's been the difference in more games positively than negatively.

McKenzie has played in a few games so far, and so far, the other team has scored nicely over his position. I wouldn't trust him in a nationaly televised game, trying to stay with Houston in the western conf race. Give Olave the break on the road against Chivas so he is rested for the LA and San Jose home games.

If he feels that he can go, then let him play in this one and take a night off another week.
