"Good quality of life, especially high education levels, attracts businesses and educated individuals to an area – which positively affects the economy."

If the people of Utah are satisfied with the way things are, let's stay at the bottom in "per student funding".

If you feel like you want to attract business to the state, bringing jobs and more taxable income to the State of Utah, let's start paying teachers and funding education.

"Utah is on the receiving end of much migration, bringing in many people other than traditional Utahns with a different race, ethnicity, culture, religion and language.

"There are 117 different languages being spoken in homes of Utah students."

This is a great opportunity upon which we can capitalize. By encouraging the best of bilingual education, our future graduates will be ever more able to become the future movers and shakers of our new world economy. They will see what is common among us and no longer treat foreigners as targets to exploit, competitors, or strangers to fear and avoid. Just ask returned LDS missionaries how they grew to love great people anywhere in the world regardless of religion, language, or lifestyle.

The best in international synergy, or hybrid vigor, is yet to come.
