There are some parallels between LA and SA. Both are very good 1/2 court defenses. Both are poor 3 point shooting teams. Both are big inside.
If Utah wants to beat LA they are going to have to change strategy and go outside to open the inside. They can't beat LA with the inside packed. Undo the Sloan bias.
They are going to have to take a page from PHO. They need to run and get the miss matches that come before LA can set it's defense.
The wrong pace is a Sloan problem.
If Sloan is too stubborn to adjust his offense then he needs to retire. Doing more of the same is going to get the same results.
The Jazz defense is not going to get a lot better. LA is to big. Kobe is going to get 25-30 points.
For the Jazz to win they have to have better efficiency. That means taking open outside shots to space the floor better. The Jazz spacing is to crowded.
If the Jazz can't rebound better they have to shoot better percentages. Last game there were way to many bad shots INSIDE.
Jazz fans think they can still win this???... Prove me wrong.. Ha Ha Ha
