a good thing and some people make it bad. if the goverment had had control over banks and wall street we would not have the problems we have now. instead they gave huge tax breaks to the ultrarich and capital gains breaks to the peope that have almost broken america. the goverment was made to watch out for the little people too. we need to come together the enemy is the robber mentality of huge oil companies and mega corporations that control prices and get tax right offs. they run everything with money and graft. when there was asurplus of fuel we had no lower prices.

Okay, $2.5 was spent to do this. Let's see a breakdown of what it cost for each home weatherized, each food delivery, etc.

Then compare the costs and number of people served by non-government agencies- the LDS Church, Salvation Army, etc. Which is helping more people at a lower cost?

This press release is simply propaganda from the White House trying to convince people that they are not wasting money. But, they are. Big time!

how long will those "jobs" last?

The source of information is the whitehouse, which has a political motive for making it look good; and the local recipients who also have political motives for making things look better than might actually be.

So why is it that only illegal aliens and illegal mexicans benefiting from these government funds? Please tell the citizens of Utah who is benefiting? It doesn't seem to be the american people.

Is it just me or has any one noticed that the americans in Utah are no longer called citizens or americans? We are called Utahans now so they can include all the illegals being harbored in this state.

It's criminal to call yourselves citizens or americans, we no longer can have pride in our country. We are americans, we are citizens, we are proud of our country, no illegal can take that from us even if the news media has disassociated itself from america.

Your hypocrites at work. One hand out for fed monies or anywhere else they can get their hand outs from but vote right wing and claim the so-called 'liberal' Democrats are socialists and are ruining the lives and fabric of independant less-government 'patriots". Pathetic. I'm all for helping those in need but when religious beliefs encourage big families with no regard to personal responsibility to support them - no way. I have never seen anything like this anywhere and I've been everywhere.
