Rob Brough, executive vice president of the Salt Lake City-based bank, Zions Bank, is quoted as saying:
"The reality is Zions Bank simply doesn't tolerate employee discrimination for any reason," he said. "While we believe the current nondiscrimination policy protects employees … the board and management felt adding this more specific language serves to reinforce the message."
How sad then that the state Zions bank originated in cannot keep up with the example the bank has chosen to give.
I think only a few cities have discrimination protection that includes orientation and sexual identiy.
The rest of the state of Utah does not.
