I know it was to be expected, but I truly feel sorry for the employee who is going to be the fall guy in this mess. I'm sure he was trained by the company. Want to bet that someone told him, "don't worry about what it says here on the box. This stuff is ok." Hopefully the jury will be fair and impartial.
My sympathy goes out to all involved.
I have to agree with the family's statement, that the courts remember mercy in this situation. I would hope that the Government will see that mistakes do happen.
Mercy is already at play, obviously, by the parents of those two beautiful girls. If you had parents full of fury and want for retribution, this would be entirely different. The family itself would seek millions on compensatory damages and see to it that the applicator and the company's lives are completely shut down for all want of normalcy. I am truly inspired by the parents. I have four small kids, and have no idea how it is they are doing what they are doing.
I, too, fully support the normal process of law in this case. It is a necessity that such procedures be followed up for all to see who deal with dangerous chemicals.
Such beautiful children. I am also, inspired by the parents of the girls. God bless them at this hard time.
