Hee hee! I know exactly what you mean. It took an entire year after I bought my house for it to occur to me that I no longer needed to save up my dirty laundry until every scrap of clothing I owned was in the basket before I ran the laundry through. In my apartment I did it that way because it was such a horrible pain to haul it all to the single laundry room at the front of the complex and fight the crowds for those stupid machines that always malfunctioned halfway through the cycle. In my very own house I can run the whites through before I leave for work and magically have plenty of clean socks when I get home! Yay!
