Korver is a class act. I hope he goes 10 for 10 in his last couple of games, and puts that record so far out of reach...he'll own it like Dimaggio's hit streak.

Fire away, Korver!

Shoot em Korver

Records will come if it meant to be or the shots come from within team play, just don't force them up bud. Good luck to you and the team.

How do they determine the record? Couldn't a Center or power forward technically hit a three pointer at the beginning of the season and be 100% the rest of the year?

Houdini

Korver should of gotten more minutes this year, best 3 point shooter and we don`t use him enough.Bulls sure used Kerr....Come on Jazz,Denver is all but giving us the NW and a 3 seed...lets go, win out

"How do they determine the record?"

As I recall you have to have played in a minimum number of games and also have to have taken a minimum number of three point shots during the season. Sorry, but I don't remember the exact number.

So no, you can't simply have hit one 3 point shot during the season and own the record at 100% shooting.

The really amazing part of what Korver has done is his consistency.

Has anyone ever figured out how many 2 point shots he has taken with his foot on the 3 point line?

One other point, Korver has never used his injuries as an excuse for the shots he was missing at the end of last season and the earlier part of this one.

Even when many people were criticizing his play, I always thought he would turn out to be an amazing three point shooter once his injuries were taken care of. That ... is now proving to be true.

PLEASE RESIGN KYLE KORVER..........HE IS A CLASS ACT!

Korver Fan

It's great to see Korver on the mark for 3 point shooting this year. He is so fun to watch play the game! Here's hoping he takes the top prize and the Jazz can keep him until he retires.

kyle vs kerr

I would take kerr any day of the week! Kerr hit big shot after big shot. Korver may get there some day but I agree with the comment that the Jazz don't use him to his full potential. Steve Kerr was clutch and was used so intelligently by Phill Jackson.

RE-SIGN KORVER. RE-SIGN KORVER! Keep HIM IN A JAZZ UNI!!!

The luxury of kerr was he got Jordan and Duncan respectivelly, but on korver's case he got stars but not superstars. Kerr can shoot and bail by their superstars but not with korver that once he's off he'll be on the bench the next thing you know.
