Wow

Rats leaving a sinking ship. Too bad I'm a Ute fan.

poor Boylen

keep your head up Jimmy, after all you are being given another season to coach. make the most of it

nottyou

Things are coming to a Boilin' point for UofU hoop.

Die Hard Ute

Okay, I give up on Boylen. Can he quit next. This has become a joke of a program. Sad sad day!!

Jim

When will someone just be honest? To say his departure isn't about the coaches, the system or the players and that he loves the University of Utah is just plain silly. Marshall goes on to say that Coach Boylen has certain restrictions and rules that don't fit his skills. Isn't that about the coaches and system? Come on now Marshall. You hated the experience. You hate the system. You don't like the coach and you are happy to get the heck out of here so you can cast up 3 pointers with impunity. Good luck.

What?

Why would anyone want to leave the utes and Boilin Jim? He has been a horrible hire, time to move on....

Eddie

Like I said before...It brings new meaning to the term, "Run'n Utes".

Keep 'em running Boylen!

Wow

Let's see...Utah's PPG average next season should be about 45. That's certainly 'Utah basketball'. NEXT!

keevinwho

This is distressing. How many? 5? Even Majerus didnt run that many off! I support the school down south but I count on our partners up north to put up a fight. Whats the inside scoop?

SoCalTrueBlue

Rumor has it Henderson will join the boxing team at his next college.

sammy

yea right, who believes him???

Not sad to see him go

From his facial expressions to his three-ball heaves to his penchant for the cheap shot backhand, Henderson never struck me as anything more than a flash-in-the-pan with a punk attitude.

Good luck at home.

I don't know if Boylen should be proclaiming that they will be better next year. Facts not in evidence.

Confused

If it's not about basketball then why did you say Coach Boylen's coaching did not fit with your individualism?

Boylen Leaving the Program

Is the only headline I want to read next concerning Ute basketball.

If this was a rebuilding year what's next year going to look like.

I have finally given up on Boylen... just like his players. The question is "how low can we go"?

Wash DC BYU Fan

The comment made by Henderson is really baffling: "My decision to leave Utah is not related to basketball. I want to be closer to home," said Henderson. "Coach Boylen's program also has certain rules and restrictions that I respect, but I don't feel they fit with my individualism. This is not about the coaches, the system or the players."

So which is it, are you leaving the program bc you want to be closer to home or are you leaving bc you don't feel the coaches allow you enough "individualism"?

Butler???

Do you have another hot coach floating around. Jim has got to go!

Ute Fan

Complete Meltdown!

I wonder if some of these players who are leaving are as creeped out by Boylen's antics on the sideline as I am. He would be a huge distraction as a coach. I would have a hard time playing for him. Some may call it intensity. I call it mental illness, especially when he goes exorcist on the refs.

Life-long Ute Fan

bummer

"Coach Boylen's program also has certain rules and restrictions that I respect, but I don't feel they fit with my individualism."

Do you think one of those rules are "no hand slapping"?? I was looking forward to 3 more years of booing at the MC.

How much longer can coach Boylen stay? I mean this is worse than a sinking ship...honestly what is going on up on the hill? It doesn't look good for the U next year.

Good thing I couldn't care less. GO COUGARS!!

5,000 Attendance

When will Hall read the writing on the wall?

Honestly-this is last straw

Next season will be another disaster.

Time to clean house and it starts at the top and I don't mean Boylen, but Dr. Hill.
