City people have an odd idea about "hiking." This whole thing looks like a groomed trail like you'd take kids on for a little time out of the house. Sad, how meek the wild places have all become.
Oh puh-leeeeze. Salt Lake and Utah counties are full of beautiful hiking trails with substantial diversity. The fact that this trail happens to overlook "civilization" does not invalidate it. If you want to find "wild places" around here, they are very easy to come by.
Aron, "Hike of the Week" is for all hiking levels. The Shoreline Trail is a great hike to take the kids. I will be doing more challenging hikes during the season and hope you enjoy them. Have a great hiking season!
