"According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Ephesians 3:11)
The eternal purpose of Christ is the effective headship over a united church in preparation for his ultimeate headship over the universe.(1:10)
"Charity never faileth",(1Cor 13:8 KJV). "Love never fails",(1Cor 13:8 NIV). Love is the correct translation of the Greek word(agape).

Anonymous. Hmmmmmmm. Good way to do a hit and run comment! But, that's OK because, obviously, you do not know what you are talking about. Socialism comes from a totally different source and offers NO Moral Agency to chose what one will believe or not believe! This, amongst other factors, is a very great and profound reason for me to remain a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and why my ancestors came to this land rather than Europe and other countries where they were deprived of their right to worship as they chose! I hope that somewhere along the way Anonymous will gain a more informed understanding of the word "socialism."
People are critical of the governement for such social projects but follow anything and organisation in the church without question. I certainly have a hard time with this. One cannot work without the other and yes some semblace of socialism belongs in each and enough with this "free agency", let us all work together and not judge.
socialism is alive and well in the mormon church
