Wow, what a neat story! I loved the poem. Good luck with your new journey in life, it is neat that you are able to bring a child into your lives this way!
I hope that it really only takes 9mths! That would be a true miracle. However long it takes, it will be worth it. From another Haitian mama
What a wonderful story. So happy that you were able to find your sweet little baby, and that he will have a loving home and parents! I pray for all of the little orphans of Haiti, that their lives will turn out happy and that they will have families to love and care for them.
Tonya, What a touching poem. I am really truly excited for you and impressed how you followed your heart.
It takes special people to truly open up their hearts and share with others. This is such a Christ-like act of love. You are an inspiration to others. May you always be blessed for this act of love.
What a great story. This just goes to show that dreams do come true. Thank you Brian and Tonya for sharing yours with us. It gives me so much hope for my own situation. Bravo!
Wow! A "Godsend" in 3 ways: An orphanage that had sweet little ones needing to be a part of a family. A man fulfilling many "needs" of others, but seeing a heartfelt need that he could be an instrument in fulfilling. And the last, a hole in two hearts being mended by a small cry of a child coming into their lives. Awesome poem. But truly, an awesome man (Johnson). Great Story Cynthia
WOW What a great story Cynthia. You never know sometimes God's plans. How wonderful for this family with their new son.
A wonderful story on many levels: People helping others in need; friends helping friends; in the end a great example of God's plan.
What a hearfelt story! This story was written with so much compassion. I felt like I was there in Haiti with this family! I would love to hear more...possibly a Part II
Amazing!
What an uplifting story; beautifully written. A wonderful example that even amidst such heartbreaking devastation hope lives. The loving hand of God worked through these amazing people to bring Tyler and his new family together. Bless them all.
