I didn't identify any of them, took me a minute to figure out who Kate was.

I actually totally agree with you and I too totally rooted for and supported Donny during his run on DWTS, however this bunch definitely do not qualify as stars, some of them hardly qualify as celebrities and quite frankly they're going to do it without me this time. I like to see at least 1 STAR. Half the fun for me was having someone I could vote for and wanted to continue on and improve.

Pierce is correct that these so-called celebrities have essentially sold their souls in an effort to obtain status as real celebrities. In the process, these contestants agree to wear immodest outfits, dance in sexually suggestive manners, and engage in outrageous behavior. This show is not the least bit uplifting. In fact, there was a time in this Country when Hollywood would not have even considered marketing this sort of program as family entertainment. It is sad to see these people join the amoral modern entertainment industry for a few minutes of fame.

A star has talent.

Kate is simply famous. There is a difference.

Ina

I completely agree with Scott Pierce! This show has definitely run its course.

Oh, gee, I think the figure skater will win. I don't know why anyone else is even bothering. Except for the money.

(And the skater will win next year, and the next, and the next...)

Not watching

I like ballroom dancing. It's partly why I married my hubs - we went dancing all the time. I've watched "Dancing" before, but this season sounds like a real bore. Who are these people? Nobody even remotely interesting.

Erin Andrews

Every man (ok every man who watches ESPN, but isnt' that all men?) in America knows Erin Andrews.

She was a dancer at Flordia before working at TBS and being the studio host for Braves baseball. Now she is an ESPN sideline reporter.

Obviously she knows how to dance, she is intelligent and a talented reporter. She will do well on the show.

Nicole Scherzinger

Is also a major hottie and a dancer. The younger generation knows her as the lead singer on The Pussycat Dolls. She also will do well.

Nicole

Is so hott. she better win.
