THAT WAS LOVELY. I too have a rose jar. It sits by the piano and awaits rose petals from all the occasions that require or acquire roses. Thank you for your lovely grandmother's words.

Memory Jar

A friend has a jar that she puts tiny slips of paper in -- the papers have funny sayings from little ones; a short memory of a fun activity; or some other family tidbit. They take the jar on family trips and pull the papers out randomly and read.
