We just can't defend the 3 point shot. I thought that teams like UNLV and UNM just got hot on us but I've finally realized it's not them ..it's us. We can't defend the perimiter. I just hope we keep this game respectable. And once again Fredette fails to show up to the biggest games of the year. Florida was a mediocre team.
EXPOSED!!!!!!!!!!!!
So after watching Kansas force a bunch of TOs vs N. Iowa with the press, and then seeing the first half of this game one thing is clear...if you full court press, you get a lot of leeway on what is called a block or reach. Wow...I call dibs on jungle ball in the 2nd half!
it 'terrible"......The Jam Man dribbles too much and Rosie doesn't see it! Miles tries to push his way around at half court--whistle blows!!! JT being a bully and throwing up bricks!!!!
Don't forget to wave at the site of the "16" as your bus goes buy the ESA on the way to Provie!!!!
They are grabbing Jimmer big time.
Well the good news is Jimmer is probably coming back next year. LOL
He's killing BYU. Forcing shots and hoping for fouls. I love the guy but he's killing us. BYU was out coached tonight. K-State had a great game plan and BYU really had none. It showed.
Jimmer will not be drafted. The Kewgs made him seem like something special... but infact he's just another BYU player. Slow, unathletic and not cluch in big games.
Exposed? 7 seed team still hanging in there with the 2. Hope we have one more good run in here, 7 minutes to go! UW killing NM though...MWC seems to have been exposed a bit.
Oddly, have to agree with the Jimmer comment. The down side of him having too good a tourney was him leaving. I think he's back next year.
The officiating is completely anti-BYU!!
Sincerely,
BYU announcers on KSL radio
Ouch - every time BYU starts a run, KState hits a big shot. The D isn't terrible, KState is hitting some from way out there. Nuts!
JT - I always wondered if he'd ever show up for a big game. Guess not. Addition by subtraction there next year.
This game has had some horrible coaching! how many threes do they have, como on byu, maybe jimmer should stop worrying about points and play some flippin dfense for once.. he doesnt play d
Refs!! You can do it!
BYU is a second place team in a below average confernce. KSU is better in every way including guard play.
21 of the most useless points i've ever seen
The BYU basketball team is so soft they should be the spokespeople for Charmin bath tissue.
I hate BYU Football. But I am sad that the BB team did not advance.
As a 5, we would not have faced a 2 yet.
And Coach, Mostley guard though, this was a disgrace, to watch the d back up time after time and let them shoot threes wide open, i could make those shots, come on madden 2, the guards for byu dont play d, and im a byu fan..
The final word - well done KSU - that first half press got the lead and they answered every mini-run with a stop or big shot with 7-10 minutes left in the game. BYU got over one hump this year - next year we'll go for more.
I was happy to see the BYU bench not satisfied with getting this far. Great season, one of BYU's best teams, but next year could be even better. Good luck!
