Don't put words in to God's mouth like God does good things to good people. Many of us have had loved ones who were good people and died of cancer. Your statement is absolutely offensive.

I lost a good son....

to incurable cancer. He was the best he could be. Let the chips fall where they may. Obedience is the key to success...give the man a little slack...a head coach from Kansas State is a country boy with faith and obviously a hard worker. Effort on the court tonight, applying all the skills, will win the game. It is a matter of faith and works.

back at you

Don't put words in Coach Martin's mouth. He didn't say that everyone who dies from cancer is bad. He was only commenting on the type of person Coach Rose is. If you choose to be offended, that's your problem, not Coach Martin's!
BTW, God loves you, too. I can say that can't I???

get a life martin!

God has nothing to do with whether you live or die. We're organisms that once in a while things go awry and we pass. Very simple. He has an eternity to live with us and doesn't need us sooner or later.

I couldn't disagree with you more dennis. I think God decides when we go home to him.

I am a two time cancer survivor and I was offended by Martin's statement. I have seen plenty of 'good people' die from cancer. I'm sure he didn't mean it to be offensive, but it was.
